PHOTOGRAPHIC RESTORATION AND MODIFICATION

The examples shown below are examples of the photographic restoration and modification we are able to provide. Many families have old photos that over the years and generations have begun to deteriorate. Old Polaroid photos turn pink or green and the image fades -- these can normally be brought back to near perfect condition. Very old cracked or torn photos can normally be restored to excellent quality.

Images can be added to photographs, such as adding a younger sibling to a photo of older siblings as in the example below.

Newer photos can be tinted with a Sepia tone to appear older for an interesting affect, especially in they are put in an antique frame.

This Restoration was from a Torn Photograph

This photograph was taken in 1921 and over the years was cracked and torn. To restore this photograph required aligning the two pieces as close as possible, then picking small parts from each piece to fill the damaged area. This requires enlarging the image from 400-600 times to be able to match and fill the damaged area. Additional work to adjust brightness and contrast and sharpen the final photo.
